I’m proud to welcome you to another year of learning, growth, and opportunity in the Perry County School District!

I was once a student in these very hallways and I’ve had the privilege to serve as a teacher, principal, and now superintendent. When I say I care deeply about our schools, I mean it - not just professionally, but personally. This is home and our students are the future of this community we all love.

The Perry County School District is focused on doing more than just teaching - we're building leaders. We believe that success happens when students are encouraged to think critically, take ownership of their learning, and feel connected to the people around them. 

From the beginning, I’ve made it a priority to hold ourselves to high standards—and that starts with me. I expect our schools to be safe places where teaching and learning are meaningful, data-driven, and student-centered. My non-negotiables reflect those values:

• All stakeholders will work together to create a supportive school environment that empowers both students and staff to reach their highest potential.
• Staff will continually analyze data sources to make informed adjustments to instructional practices.
• Each member of our educational community will hold themselves and each other accountable - working side by side to remove barriers to success.

   

Our work won’t always be easy, but it will always be worth it. The success of our students is something we all share responsibility for and I believe that when we come together with purpose and passion, there’s no limit to what we can accomplish.
